Are you an experienced Manufacturing Foreman looking to lead a skilled production team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? This is an opportunity to oversee operations, drive efficiency, and maintain top-quality standards in vehicle manufacturing.
 
While experience is preferred, we are also open to candidates who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a desire to grow in a senior role.
 
About the Role
As a Manufacturing Foreman, you will be responsible for production planning, team leadership, and operational improvements, ensuring manufacturing runs smoothly while maintaining high safety and quality standards. You will work closely with contractors to optimise processes, and lead a team of 15 production staff.
 
Key Responsibilities Production & Resource Planning

  • Develop and execute production schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure vehicles are COF-ready, cleaned, and fueled before delivery.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure external work is completed on time.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
  • Utilise data analytics to monitor performance and enhance production processes.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15 production staff, assigning tasks and monitoring workflow.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and develop employee growth plans.
  • Handle attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters in line with company procedures.
  • Oversee and verify timesheets to ensure payroll accuracy.

Health & Safety Leadership

  • Maintain and enforce a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Lead safety training and compliance with H&S regulations.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness while upholding top-tier Health & Safety standards.

Quality Control & ISO 9001 Compliance

  • Oversee QA checks to ensure all vehicles meet quality standards before leaving the department.
  • Conduct inspections and address quality concerns promptly.

What You Bring

  • Experience in a Manufacturing Foreman or Supervisory role, preferably in vehicle manufacturing.
  • Strong production planning & coordination experience across manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to operations.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations & best practices.
  • Proficiency in production management software & tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in team management & performance coaching.
  • Ability to handle workplace issues (attendance, performance, and behavioral matters).
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.
